Fix Lazy Colon Probiotics

Anakiwa July - 31 August

We have arrived. Finally! After over three and a half months of adventure travel a little tired we Anakiwa Backpackers have reached and taken over by Shayne and Tanya for the next five weeks, after we have gone to Blenheim airport.

A short impression of what we look like this: Anakiwa is about 40 minutes from Picton, 50 minutes from Blenheim, and away more than 1 hour from Nelson. The nearest supermarket is a gas station in about 20 minutes. So you can say, pretty far out, mainly because when it rains like once blocked the road to Picton by mudslides.

But it has arranged itself and we the same time! We have bought in huge quantities in Nelson, there is really the only large supermarket (and also a Sausage wagon (mais ceci est une autre histoire)) and it all happens at the Link Water Hall! The town hall in which we have participated in judo and yoga class. For judo, we were invited by Shayne, who runs the course. The info on the yoga class we were given spontaneously and then just went.

Next in text: Anakiwa located in the Marlborough Sounds, right at the end of the Queen Charlotte Track, we are of course still run before (report to follow). And see this:

much bush, lots of water, nothing else ...

Our roommate called Scruff and Kiwa and are best friends. If Scruff gets boring He attended Rocky in the YHA, operated by Friends of Tanya and Shayne but competitors in the business. We also come straight from there because we were invited to a few glasses of wine.

Our house is painted in pretty blue, newly renovated and sleeps up to 12 guests. Currently only 10 since we live so here in a nice room. Our dining table is way more convenient, since a pool table lies below :-) It also has a really great coffee and a comfortable lounge in the main slopes is currently fashionable. Guests, we have not been given, but we are also only two full days here alone.

The could sometimes be your room ...

morning we pick up the mail and walk just a short time on the web of the Outward Bound School (you can make self-awareness courses, which are probably pretty sharp) and Scruff takes the opportunity for a guided walk was coming straight with the times. By afternoon, the little boat into the water and fish gone :-)

Otherwise we relax, wash mend stuff, sort photos, sift vacancies, Christine bakes bread and Mark began to build an arch.

The weather was in the last few days. In the sun it had up to 28 degrees, but at night fall we noted the winter and the temperatures around 5 degrees. Supposedly these are but the last cold days and it is getting warmer in August. We also hope But the day after tomorrow is unfortunately, first bad weather predicted.

time we have now in any case first, and enough books too, so off we will be safe and well so it is hopefully continue with the trip reports!

If you like us can at times also call on the fixed network (number removed, because we are now gone). Here we are 30 August accessible.

soon,

Mark & Christine
