Carving Foam Insulation

tour of Romania

As I have already written, I came of 4 - 16 August Carina and Gerlinde - 2 friends visiting from book. Together with them, and Julia - a volunteer colleague, we went to a rental car to visit Romania or to discover some people. On 5 August we went to Bucharest with the Dacia in the direction of Iasi. Once there, we were lucky and found a nice pension. Iasi visited we the next day. The Palace of Culture, the Church of the Three Hierarchs, the Catholic Cathedral, the Orthodox Patriarchate, the Piata Uniri and the university district with the park Copou. In the afternoon we drove to Raducaneni to visit the Divine Word Missionaries, the sisters welcomed us very warmly. In Raducaneni we met then 2 more Vorarlberg, were included with the Divine Word Father Hans also to visit with the sisters. From Raducaneni

went on to ride out the novel, where we looked again and found property. From there we drove to Luizi Calugara and visited our Pastor Paul, the degree was home on leave. For me, this visit was a great experience, I was in 2005, ever since, with the only difference that I there was no Romanian. Many of his siblings were there with their families.

The next day we drove to the Bukovina to visit three monasteries of Moldova. Voronet, humor and Dragomirna.
On Sunday the 9th August, we visited the Roman celebration of the eternal vows of Sr Lucia and Luminita. After dinner with the sisters, we have helped with the washing up and had lots of fun!
went on the trip past the Red Sea and then through the Bicazklamm to Medias and Sibiu.
Near Sibiu, we visited the museum and looked naturally to the city. On the way to Brasov, we visited the small Transylvanian village Viscri - and viewed as the tabor.
In Brasov, we experienced the only rainy day of the trip, but that we could not derail us and others visited the black church, the white and black tower, the narrowest street in Romania ,....
Constanta On the way we stopped in and visited the Bran Dracula Castle and Prejmer, where we visited the castle church.
Constanta was also worth a visit and we went on the penultimate day of our trip even the city of Tulcea and took a boat trip on the Danube. On Saturday we drove
back to Ploiesti and visited our friends in the city of children and on the farm. Late in the evening we reached Bucharest.
The trip was very beautiful, we were able to experience much.
Photos to follow tomorrow!
